My admins have noticed that when loggin into the admin cp the main page takes forever to load and the status bar says 'connecting to version.vbulletin.com' Or sometimes it will timeout.


What can we do to slove this?

Your server is having a problem connecting to our server for the latest version info. Find out what this problem is and correct it.

I had this problem before, but it was fixed when i upgraded by chance.

It seems that the quick stats that you can turn on in Vbulletin Options > Admin Control Panel Options > Control Panel Quick Statistics

is what was causing the problem

I set this to no and I no longer get the long pause like above.

Enable it and I get the long pause.
