    It sounds like to me that you modified the attachment usergroup settings to 65k and not the individual attachment extensions. You need to go to Attachments -> Extensions and Sizes and set the maximum filesize for each extension.

    In addition to the vB settings, the allowed size of the attachments depends on the PHP and MySQL configuration. You may need to check and change the upload size for both PHP and for MySQL. Note, you'll need to have root access to the server to do this (or have your host do it.) Make these changes to php.ini:

    upload_max_filesize = xM

    ..and my.cnf

    set-variable=max_allowed_packet=xM

    Change it to the size ('x') you want in Megabytes. Restart the webserver and MySQL after making the se changes.

    Only if he enables Quick AdminCP Stats.

    I am guessing your settings in php.ini are not setup correctly to allow large uploads.

    in php.ini what is the max_post_size set to?

    New to all of this ... running version 3 on an OSX Server ... I am not allowed to upload attatchment larger than 39k ... the settings in the admincp are at 65k

    thanks for help

    Has anyone modified their "Max PHP post size" and if so to what level, also the "PHP maximum upload size"?

    Currently Max PHP post size set at 8mg and PHP maximum upload...
