I want to alter the actual forum layout a little, how do I swap the 'Last Post' and 'Threads' & 'Posts' around?

In the forumhome_forumbit_* templates that you changed, you need to change the alt1 and alt2 class references appropriately.

What do you mean change alt1 to alt2 and vice versa?

copy the template into your favorite text editor.

Do a find and replace for all instances of alt1 changing them to foobar (seriously change it to foobar or it will screw up).

Then do a find and replace for all instances of alt 2 changing them to alt1

Finally do a find and replace for all instances of foobar changing them to alt2

Hey presto they have switch around.

Now just copy and paste it all back into your template manager and save the template.

Repeat as required for required templates.
