  • [IMG] only for admin

    Hi all,

    Is it possible to turn on the [IMG] tag only for the administrator?

    Warm regards,
    Bina.

    No sorry. This is not a usergroup option. It may be possible with template conditionals but I'm not really sure.

      Code:
      <div>
      <if condition="$foruminfo['allowimages'] == '1'">
      Yes, [img] can be used
      <else />
      No, [img] can not be used
      </if>
      </div>
      You could try that in the newthread template and see if it matches against 1 for yes ir 0 for no.

      If that works, you can probably update phpinclude_start with some php code to override this option.

      if (THIS_SCRIPT == 'newthread')
      {
      if ($bbuserinfo['usergroupid'] == '6')
      {
      $foruminfo['allowimages'] = '1';
      }
      }

      Set the forum permission 'can use [img]' to 'no' for everybody,
      then only if the user is in the usergroupid 6 (admin) it sets it to yes.
      You can use the above template code in the template newthread to see if it works.

      Note: this is untested.
