    In 1600x1200 resolution, the image would be 1000pixels wide.
    In 800x600 resolution, the image would be 600 pixels wide.

    You can't make the image dynamic.

    If you want that image to be bigger - modify the original in your image manipulation software and upload the new .gif that you save off of it.

    You can goto the Admin Control Panel > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > behind the style, from the drop down > StyleVars > Header Image > set the image you want to use. It will replace the default image.

    If you replace the vb logo with a custom image, and it is longer - it will change size automaticly. It isn't set to just x pixels width. So you should be save
