Member unable to log in

The following message was sent to me by one of my members and I don't know what the problem could be.

I have been trying to sign in, and it says I have successfully done so, but then when I try to post, or anything of the "member" nature, it says I am unregistered and must login, and once I do it again, it just takes me YET again to the login page lol.

I'm sorry, but I'm a bit confused. I don't see a cookie folder at all.

I found vb\includes

Inside of the includes folder there is a file called config.php

I can upload the file you had me download but I don't know what you mean when you say "run it"?

This is a cookie problem, but don't change any of your settings. This will only make it worse. This users cookies are corrupted. Tell him to manually delete his cookies. To do this in IE 6.0:

Tools -> Internet Options -> Temporary Internet Files -> Settings -> View Files

Then search for the individual cookies for your domain and delete them all. The name should be in the form of:

Cookie:[email protected]
and
Cookie:[email protected]

...and any derivatives of the above. Then highlight the individual cookies and delete each one found. After this, close all browser windows and restart IE.
