Changed username & now it isn't accessible

Per request, I changed the username of a member through the Admin panel, but since changing it she can't log in. It says "invalid username or password". I've tried changing the password too, but even I can't login under her username and password.

I can't think of any reason this should happen. Have you installed any hacks? Have you treid changing it back to what it was before?

make sure you didn't inadvertantly put a space before the username

I don't know what the problem was, but after changing it back to her original name it worked fine. So after changing it, I went in and changed it yet again, per her request and it seems to be working fine now
