  • "Enable Private Messaging" doesn't stick

I'm in the process of installing a board for a client, and when testing it out, the option in the control panel "Enable Private Messaging" doesn't work. I try to check it, but when I return, it's unchecked again.

Is his usergroup allowed to use the private msg system, and is the privmsg system enabled through vbulletin options > ?

Yes, "Private messaging enabled" is set to "Yes" in the Options, and the usergroup (Administrators in this case) has "Maximum Stored Messages" set to 50.

Are you using the default templates?

I'm not, but I just created a new "default" style and that works perfectly. I'm confused though, as to what I might have modified to break the "Enable Private Messaging" option. I've only messed around with the design. Which template is the likely culprit?

I got it! It was an included file that messed up $_POST adn $_GET variables. My bad.
