    ACP > Styles & Templates > Styles Manager
    In FORUMDISPLAY

    Find:
    PHP Code:
    <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]border="0" width="100%" align="center">
    $announcebits
    <tr
    Replace with:
    PHP Code:
    <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]border="0" width="100%" align="center">
    <
    tr><td><table cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]cellspacing=$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
    $announcebits
    <tr>
    Find:
    PHP Code:
        </tr>
        <!--
    end show no threads message -->
    </if>
    </
    table
    Add below it:
    PHP Code:
    </td><td valign="top">
    <!--
    Banner -->
    <!--
    Insert your banner code here -->
    </
    td></tr></table

    Let me know if that does the trick for you; I think it should give you the extra column on the right, and automatically adjust to the size of it.

    Hi Floris,

    Thansk a bunch for that ...but its not exactly what I was after ...

    What your code did was 'append' the banner to the edge of the forum...I was after something that would actually 'make room' within the table like the one here: http://www.cgtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7

    See how it sits neatly within the forum area ... how would i do that ?

    Thanks VERY much for all your help!!! much appreciated

    Look forward to hearing from you

    Paul

    open the showthread template,

    find this code:

    <!-- end content table -->
    $spacer_close
    <!-- / end content table -->

    and ABOVE this, add this code:

    <table><tr><td>

    now find this code:

    <div id="posts">$postbits</div>

    and below it, add this code:
    </td><td width="150" valign="top">
    <a href="AD LINK"><img border="0" src="images/AD IMG.gif" /></a>

    then find this code:

    <!-- start content table -->
    $spacer_open
    <!-- / start content table -->

    and below it, add this code:

    </td></tr></table>

    now save the template.

    showthread
    or
    threadbit

    You need to split the table to have another table column aside it.

    Which template is this ... ?

    Hi All,

    If you have a look here: http://www.cgtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7

    You will see on the right hand side of the thread list there is a big 160 x 600 tower ad ...

    What template do i need to mod to have an ad like that fit in ?? And where abouts in the template

    Cheers for your help!!!!
