    Hello,
    if I set my storage of attachements to files instead of database, will the folowing features still work:

    -Limit size
    -Thumbnails
    -usergroup permissions ?

    Yes, all of those will still work.

      I moved the files from database to files.

      At the end, it said it could takes minutes to move my 90 megs of files to the directory, yet it seems it was done instanty, and the database was (almost) not reduced in size.

      Also for example, when I see the html code for an image, I thought I would see a direct link to the jpg image, instead I still see a link like "attachment.php?attachmentid=2237&stc=1" ?

      Is all this normal ? It seems the images are still in the database.

            Yes, you should notice a shrinkage if the move was completed.
