  • Preventing apperaring on forum leaders

Primary group "bestuur" appears on the forum leaders board. That's ok.
But I have a user that is secondary member of the group "bestuur". He's not a "bestuurslid (translation = governing board member) but he must can view the secions that a member of the goverging board (bestuur) can.

But when he's secondary member of "bestuur" he appears on the forum leaders list too.

    How can I prevent this?

I don't believe you can without hacking. Since he's a member of this group, he appears by design.

What about access masks? Couldn't you use that to give the member access to the areas without making him a member of that usergroup?

For forum access.. Maybe an idea.

Does somebody know if a users has special access masks for a section he can post overthere too?

I have an access mask set up for a normal user to have access to an admin forum and that user can post there.

I ask this cause I have set the Mod-Hangout with restrictions for members to "no" on every possibility. So it's an private section and they can't come in but al the other settings (mail, rate, post etc.) are set to no too.

But I know "yes comes before no" so If members can't acces the modhangout a member with special acces masks can. And I'll just test out on my forums if he can post.

              Thx!

Mine is set up that same way. So I would assume the member would be able to post in yours since mine can.
