  • Is there an opposite of 'Exclude'... in New Posts Searches

    Hi

I am trying to set up a new moderator only search menu item using conditionals that is only shown for moderators and admin. I have got this working i.e. the menu item only shows up for these usergroups, but I now want to only search new posts in 2 forums.

I can use the getnew&exclude='n' where 'n' is the usergroup I don't want new posts shown from... but I want the opposinte function i.e. I only want to show new posts from usergroups 'a' and 'b'. Is there a logical opposite to the exclude command...?

I know I can use the exclude with numerous catoegory ID's seperated by ',' but am wondering if I can do the opposite...

    Cheers
    John

That feature has already been added to the next version. Instead of exlude=X,Y,Z you can use include=X,Y,Z.

So you will have to wait for the next point release.

Okies Jake, thanks for letting me know. I have used the exclude statement with all forums I don't want displayed in the list for now...

      Cheers.
