  • ModCp Rights

How do I regulate what tools can be used by my mods? For instance, if I'm using moderators and supermoderators I'd like the ModCp to have different options.

Example: Mods can't add announcements, SuperMods can add announcements. As a superadministrator I can edit what admins see, but I can't find that place for moderators. What am I missing?

For Mod their permissions are done by each forum.

I know that much, I'm trying to determine actual rights within the ModCP, the same as can be done with admins and the AdminCP

Super Moderators can do everything in the Mod CP. There is no way to limit a Super Moderator's power.

Regular forum moderators can have their permissions edited in the:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager

Select the moderators from the menus on the right.

We're still running in circles here. I know how to edit standard moderator functions, but what I'm looking to do is edit what moderators can do within the MODERATOR CONTROL PANEL.

You can control Mod CP access by editing the permissions in the:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager

Super Moderators can do everything in the Mod CP.

I want to DISABLE pruning ability for all but superadmin. I still can not find a way to do this.

From who do you want to take away pruning priviledges?

For regular moderators, do like in my previous post. Super moderators can do everything, so removing the pruning ability would require custom code.
