Last Post preview

On each forum there is a column called "Last Post" which displays a preview of the title of the latest post. I see an option in the admin panel for trimming down the number of characters that will be shown, but is there a way to turn this off?

This forum http://forum.belgiumdigital.com/index.php? has done what I am talking about. I hope this does not involve hacking one of the templates.

That is a small template modification:

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Forum Home Templates -> forumhome_lastpostby

Remove the red code:
