  • Firefox & DHTML drop-down issues

In Firefox 0.93 on XP, the right click doesn't work in the DHTML drop-downs. Right clicking simply closes the menu.

Given that it works fine in Firefox on OS/X, I put it down a Firefox problem. However, one of my members did some research and came up with this:

Any ideas on how to fix this? (assuming this really is the problem)

The problem is with Gecko, when the context menu is opened it throws an onclick event to the main document which causes it to close. IE, Opera and KHTML don't do this.

To work around it I added a right click function for mozilla that would disable the onclick event for the main document while it was hovered over a menu, it appears that this hasn't applied to input events.

I'm going to check bugzilla just now to see if there is any mention of this.
