HTML allowed for admin and mods only?

As an administrator on my board, i'd like to be able to use the following code when talking about the movie Putney Swope.

How can I allow myself and the moderators to use HTML while forbidding other user groups from doing so?

That would require modifying the files. For this reason I recommend you post on www.vbulletin.org, the official vB hacking site, for help with this.

After searching I have accomplished what I needed using custom BB Code.

[amazon_single_item]ASIN[/amazon_single_item]

Keep in mind that BB codes can be used by everyone, not just admins and mods.

True enough, but it forces my affiliate code so it's fine for my purposes.
