Hello all! I'm working on a new board that has a large number of subforums (1500+). Long story, but we need to have that many. My question is whether there's anything I should do database-wise or server-wise to ensure that we are running as quickly as possible.
Not all of these forums are displayed on the main page or on any sub-page, so the only query they should all show up in is in the admin control panel. Just wanted to make sure that having a large number of forums won't break anything else.
The forums are going to be running on a dedicated server, we may move the DB to a separate server as well, so we won't have any hardware-related issues.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
