How Do I Make "Thread Starter" Have its own column?

I am wanting to make the name of the "thread starter" appear in its own column on the forum display. Its currently under the thread title, which is going to be interferring with a "thread description" hack I plan on installing this evening.

    Would this be difficult?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide

Do you have a temporary test account for us? Otherwise please post the code here.

I wouldn't know, because the page shows a permission denied.

This works great for the forumindex, but messes up the index from the "new posts" index. Do you have a solution for that page also?
