    What vB option(s) stop the display of "forum moderators" in the "View Forum Leaders?" Looked high and low for that?

    I didn't want forum moderators showing up in the "View Forum Leaders" either. So I changed:

    Code:
    <if condition="$moderatorbits">
    to

    Code:
    <if condition="$moderatorbit[COLOR=red]x[/COLOR]s">
    and it seems to be working great.

    Is there anything wrong with this?

    The template shows the moderators are listed in the top, and the $usergroups below that. If the usergroup for moderators is set to yes, it will also show up there. Result: twice.

    Well, it looks like I didn't need to edit any code. I turned off the that settings the admin cp, and I went to the forum leaders page just to see, and the second list was gone but the first one stayed.

    Thanks for the help.

    It is not a second list of moderators, As of vBulletin 3, there are users who can be in the moderator usergroup. but not even be a moderator, a user is not a moderator unless they are either A a smod, and or B assigned to a forum.

    You could hide the group and then do the folowing so that the other list of what section the mods are moding will show up at the bottom.

    To hide the group :
    Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroup -> Viewable on Show Groups

    Set this to No.

    The go to your:

    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Show Groups Templates -> SHOWGROUPS

    Move the red code as shown below:
    Code:
    $stylevar[htmldoctype]
    <html dir="$stylevar[textdirection]" lang="$stylevar[languagecode]">
    <head>
    <title>$vboptions[bbtitle] - $vbphrase[show_groups]</title>
    $headinclude
    </head>
    <body>
    $header
    $navbar

    MOVE CODE HERE

    <if condition="$moderatorbits">
    <!-- moderators -->
    <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
    <tr>
    <td class="tcat" colspan="4">$vbphrase[moderators]</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="thead">&nbsp;</td>
    <td class="thead" width="50%">$vbphrase[username]<if condition="$show['locationfield']"> / $vbphrase[location_perm]</if></td>
    <td class="thead" width="50%">$vbphrase[forums]</td>
    <td class="thead">$vbphrase[contact]</td>
    </tr>
    $moderatorbits
    </table>
    <br />
    <!-- end moderators -->
    </if>

    $usergroups

    You may want to remove the Moderator group from the list:

    Set this to No.

  • Why do moderators show up twice in my forum leaders list?

    For some reason the moderators show up twice in my forum leaders page. Once with their names and the forums they moderate, and a second time with their names and locations. How can I make it get rid of the second list?
