    PHP 5 as a module

    I have created my config file and uploaded everything

    when I type www.mydomain/forum/install/install.php all I get is a blank screen

      In the 'php.ini' file, have you enabled MySQL support?

      If no, find this line:

      ;extension=php_mysql.dll
      And remove the ; at the beginning.

      Don't forget to copy the 'libmysql.dll' file into your system directory of Windows (into system32).

          Mine is doing the same thing. I am running PHP 5.0 on a local apache server. MySql version is 4.0.20. Apache, PHP, and Mysql have been tested and running. I tried the solution above but this did not work. I am still receiving a blank screen when first trying to install.

          The url would be http://localhost/4by5/forums/install/install.php

          The files are located under c:\apache2
          |
          --> htdocs
          |
          --> 4by5
          |
          -->forums ... etc.

          Any help would be appreciated.

          Cheers!
