Search Question

I want to know if categories,sub categories are searchable.What i want to do is have a how to section category and then subs about a certain item but i want the members to be able to type in the name of the product and get a serach result back of that sub. cat without having anything posted in the forum.I tried it and it didnt come up unless i posted something into that specific forum.Example say you type in vb install it would come up with that sub cat. Can that be done? Thanks Rich

You can search an entire branch of forums by using the search page. Select the parent forum and enable the Also search in child forums option.
