How do I globally set the default editor?

If it can be done - a lot of users don't know about the enhanced editor (smiley box, etc) and I think would enjoy using something other than the basic editor.

Is there a way to either disable the basic, or globally set everyone to the enhanced version?

You can set the default editor for new users under vBulletin Options -> User Registration Options.

You can set the default editor for existing users in the SQL Query tool using one of the pre-built queries in the dropdown list.
