    How to include “How did you hear about our web site" into the Users registration form

    Hi,
    How to include “How did you hear about our web site (Friend, Web Site, Forum, Newspaper, Search Engine, TV/Radio, Other)?” into the Users registration form?

    You can make a new Custom Profile Field and set it to be required during registration

      You can make it a profile field that can be filled out or required at registration.

      Admin CP > User Profile Fields > Add New User Profile Field

      Make sure you make the field either required, or show it at registration, it's your choice.

        Floris I have a question about this too?

        Is there away to do this so all forum members would not be able to see this in the profile?

        Basically I would like to do the same thing for my own knowlege, but no one elses?

                Now, “Additional Information” in Users registration form has this order:
                Referrer
                Time Zone
                Receive Email
                How did you hear about this Forum?

                How to change an order to:
                How did you hear about this Forum?
                Referrer
                Time Zone
                Receive Email

                  I think that requires the template to get updated to place the custom required profile fields to show before the default required or additional information. But I have never done that.
