  • Restricting Options to Moderators

    Hi

Sorry to ask but I could not find an answer from searching.

Can anyone tell me how I can limit the options available to my moderators? At the minute I'm not happy with a few of the options they have available to them.

Any help offered would be great, thanks.

Are you talking about in the modcp or just in general? You can restrict their options in forums via their moderating permissions on several forums. But you can also restrict via Usergroups-->Usergroup manager (which I'm sure you already knew but you said any help )

Also, if you want to take away options in the modcp I'm pretty sure that can be done via modcp/index.php . I took away an option via that way and it worked out well just to test it, but I'm sure an advanced coder would know better than me how to restrict it to only some mods

You can also edit the permissions of individual Moderators:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Show All Moderators -> Edit

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)
