  • ADS in copied text - can't get rid of

Using the WYSIWYG editor, a member made the mistake of copy/pasting a web page (with an ad in it) into a post (HTML is allowed on my board). The ad is there, and cannot be gotten rid of. When I EDIT the post, there is no reference to the ad in any way.

How can I see and/or get rid of the ad?

    Thanks

Switch to a basic text box, and edit it youll be able to see all the code from there., i highly disadvise allowing html, it can cause way more havok than good.

Understood. In the long-run (4 years), we've only had a handful of problems. We tightly control membeship, and troublemakers are shown the door immediately.

BTW, is there a way to change editors at EDIT TIME, or do you have to go back into your USER CP and select it there?

You need to go back to the usercp and edit it there.

Thanks. Bummer though. It'd be nice to have an Active-X popup that would allow you to dynamically change that on-the-fly.
