  • Passwords changed between 3.0.1 and 3.0.3? Mk II

Ok, as you always say to post each question in a new thread, I'm doing it.

    Previous Thread:

I have now changed functions.php to unmodified code in that area, so I assume I may get an answer now...

I just had someone test, he entered a forum using the password. He then closed his browser, restarted his computer, reconnected, chatted to me on MSN for a few mins, then went back onto the forum, and he was not asked for the forum password on his nest visit?

So, as I asked before, has how passwords work changed between 3.0.1 and 3.0.3?

Previously you had to enter the password in each browser session, seems no more...

Any idea how I could fix it?

At the moment I am specifying .rscnet.org in my cookie settings... I could change that to forum.rscnet.org, but would that fix this?

      Thanks for your reply Zachery.

Unless you have a specific reason to have your cookie domain that way, i suggest leaving it blank.

Ah I assumed that was required! I'll try that, thank you.
