The same thought crossed my mind earlier today. It occurred to me that the only way to do it would be to deny an admin rights to users, but I think that would defeat the purpose in most cases, including mine, unless you wanted a skinner or whatnot.

Hi, are you saying Jr. Admins on your forum are adding themselves as admins? or giving themselves more rights than what you would like them to have?

If I were you I would warn that person, and demote him to lesser rank immediately

This can jeopardize the forums at a later stage (like in case of disgruntled staff members)

    I have current setup:

    Administrator
    SuperMOd
    Moderators
    Jr. Admins

I have private forums setup for all above groups.
like admin pvt forums, supermod pvt forums. etc. etc.

Usergroups Jr. Admin is given permissions to AdminCP.

I have added few trusted members of board., as Additional users to Jr. Admin group.
so now they have access to Admin CP.
For those users i have given them users rights. (Can Administer Users)
    thats all given to them.

Today 1 of our moderators tried to changed himself to administrator group and that worked fine. he was able to change himself to Primary Group Administrator.
and was able to access all the pvt forums only restricted to administrators.

Aint this a bug ?? or should be restricted ?
like only SuperAdministrators should have rights to add new administrators.

    Please help me enabling this.
I only want super admin to be able to add new administrator.

If some more info required about my explanation please let me know.

    Regards,
    Sandy...
