email template ( which one )

i have set the function for myself to recieve mail when someone
POSTS NEW MESSAGE
REPLIES
POLLS
etc
infact when anyone including myself make any change or addition to my vb, i will recieve a message email about it.

i want to either eliminate the message that comes with the email or limit the number of charactures it sends in the email ONLY RELATED to the message on the boards

now i dont mind that the URL link comes in the email of corse so ppl can jump to it
but

if the message between the 1st

and 2nd

is extremely long i want to either have like 200 caractures showing with a READ MORE link at the end of the variable
or completely remove the message body
and only have the link so they can jump to it

Youll need to edit the phrase wich contains the email text

AdminCP > Language & Phrases > Search for the first bit of text you need to edit.

AdminCP > Languages & Phrases > Language Manager > LanguageHere > Phrase Type: Email Body Text

There are several different phrases that you will need to edit.

ok im looking at the info now in the panel
but i have no idea how to edit this info.............

do i copy and paste the altered variables and so on in the ENGLISH US TRANSLATION box?

infact i was able to find the correct link and was able to alter every common auto responder that vb has set
