As I said if I knew what the problem was I would tell you. I have nothing to gain by keeping the fix a secret.

At this point the best person able to resolve these issues is probably eva2000.

I just rebooted and the error in optimize fix went away.

I need a root cause fix though!

That is the version I have. Last night I dumped the database, deleted it and then reimported it. We will see if that fixes it.

            Thanks again for the help,

              I'm having this problem now.

A few weeks ago my database corrupted beyond repair and I had to restore a backup. I was then running VB 3.0.6. I've upgraded to VB 3.6.8 PL2.

Now threads are taking forever to open and if I run Check in CPanel I get the following messages.

              maplanet_forums.post
error : Key in wrong position at page 28216320
              error : Corrupt

              maplanet_forums.postparsed
error : Key in wrong position at page 439296
              error : Corrupt

Repair says its fixed it, however the threads still take forever to open.

              PHP - 4.4.5
              MySQL version - 4.1.22-standard

              Any ideas?
