Make sur your HTML Character Set has the proper value:

Admincp > Language & Phrases > Language Manager > English: Edit Settings > HTML Cahacter Set > ISO-8859-1

      Hey MegaHertz,

Thanks for the quick reply. I took a look at that and it all seems to be set correctly. One more piece of info for you. I have the the Can View Forum set to no. So people from the outside can not view it unless that have been setup on it.

      Title English (US)

      Allow User Selection Yes
      Is Default Language Yes
      Text Direction Left to Right

      Language Code
      This is the abbreviation your
language uses, such as "en" or "en-US".
      See here for more information.
      EN

      HTML Character Set
This is the value of the 'charset' attribute
for the HTML content type setting in the
      'headinclude' template.
      ISO-8859-1

One of my forums is also private and I have the same issue.

I am guessing here, but since there no way authenticate to the RSS feed you will not get any output.

I know that if I allow guests to view my board the RSS feed statrts working. I am assuming this is normal behavior.
