No, there is no built-in function to do this.

    Let me rephrase my question.
Is it possible to mass-join users to a secondary group without changing their primary group?

You didn't go far enough. You need to go to the next screen. Choose the usergroup and other criteria. Then you will be able to choose which users you want to move.

    hmm... selection box?

This is what I have in Admin CP -> Users -> Prune/Move Users

    Am I missing something?

[edit] oh, ok I first do a search, then make a selection. I didn't want to hit the button in the first place, because I didn't want to do something wrong (like deleting users).

Ok, but using this system, I can only move users between groups. But I cannot make them join a secondary group. Am I wrong?

The only option is what I posted. You can select or deselect the users you want to move by clicking on the selection box to the right.

    i mean,
suppose I have 200 users in usergroup 1.
I create a usergroup 2, and I want to add 50 specific users of group 1 to group 2.

ie I want to make the group 2 the secondary group of 50 of the users of group one.

Is there a more convenient way other than adding users one by one?
