  • Error Message on install when I haven't installed anything

    I got this email when I haven't touched an install on a board in months:

    Database error in vBulletin Installer :

    Invalid SQL: CREATE TABLE access (
    userid int(10) unsigned DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL,
    forumid smallint(5) unsigned DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL,
    accessmask smallint(5) unsigned DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL
    )
    mysql error: Table 'access' already exists

    mysql error number: 1050

    Date: Thursday 03rd of June 2004 04:41:08 AM
    Script: //admin/install.php?step=4
    Referer:

    I did find an old test board where I had left the install script in place, but how could anyone have gotten it to install? Nobody had my customer number and password but me. Could they have used their own?

    Why have you got install.php in your admin directory?

    Script: //admin/install.php?step=4

      LOL I don't. This whole thing doesn't make sense.

        I see what's happened. I had an old board in place that was closed, but the closed messages refers people to the new board which is in my sig. It still had the admin/instal.php in place which was running 2.9 or something like that. Someone simply tried running the script.
