  • How to set text to the same color as background color?

    we did this in the past to "hide" the postcount... well, this same thing doesn't seem to work on vb3 (and I'm a novice at this)

    anyways, in vb2, we did this in the postbit:

    PHP Code:
    <font color="$post[backcolor]">Posts$post[posts]</font
    just throwing this out... I'm pretty bored so I'm tinkering

    If you want to hide it, just remove it
    or use a conditional to hide it from only usergroups / people you want.

      but when we had it like that, you could hi light it and see it. Didn't want to remove it completely, not sure why really. I guess because most people didn't know it was there but, we did, and could see it if needed

        Well if you want just admins to see it its just a conditional

        But why yours doesnt work in vB3 is 99.9% of all color and formatting is contained in the CSS.

        <if condition="$bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == 6">$post[posts]</if>

            you can try this

            <span style="color: transparent;">$post[posts]</span> not sure if that will work or not but its worth a try

              well, it changed the text color, but that's it. Thanks for trying though!
