  • Message Icons Not Appearing, But its Text is

(Guess I should post this in the How do I of 3.01, perhaps that is what I'll do)

Why are the "post icon" images not showing - they do not appear in the "Post Icons" menu at the bottom of my editor, nor do they show up in the second column in posted messages.

Instead, the Post Icons menu of my editor is showing text for each option "Light Bulb" instead of the Light Bulb icon, and "Talking" instead of the related icon. It is not as much fun seeing the text "light bulb" as it is to the real deal (as in this forum). It ain't as much fun as it is to do this: aj , then it is to list "Smile"

    Thanks in advance,

    aj

Try this. Reupload the original vbulletin-style.xml file from the zip file to your install directory. Make sure you upload this in ASCII and overwrite the one on the server. Then import this file in the 'Upload' section of the Style Manager.

Next create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Then change to this style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)
