  • 'Last Edited by...' msg appearing for administrators when it shouldn't...

    Hi...

Is there a way to not have 'Last edited by...' added to posts when an Administrator edits the post?

    Current Settings:
    • 'No' is set in the Administrator Usergroup for display last edited by..
    • Administrator does NOT belong to any other groups, BUT:
    • Administrator is a Usergroup Leader for an additional public usergroup (this is REQUIRED by vbulletin in order to moderate the join requests by users who wish to publicly join this public additional usergroup, correct?).

So, if I set the Display Last Edited By... permission to 'No' for this additional usergroup just so the Administrator who leads this group won't display last edited by (because it'd then be 'no' for both groups), will members of the Registered usergroup and this additional usergroup still display Last Edited By because their Registered usergroup permission is set to 'yes' even though the additional usergroup is set to 'no'?

In other words, the 'higher' privilege won't prevail in this case because 'yes' is considered higher even though in this case it's more restrictive?

    Thanks!

That's correct. The 'yes' will take precedence.
