How to find broken link

I seem to have a broken link when my forum loads (safari shows a 404 message in the activities list, yet, instead of showing me which link is broken, it loads my host's 404 'file doesn't exist'.
How can I find out which link is broken?

There are some services on the internet that examine your site and report things you need to improve on, including broken links. I would use one of those services.
