  • Email Notification Problems from Localhost

I've just moved my vB installation to a new server and all email notifications are being rejected by the receivers because they don't recognize the sender domain.

The emails all come from "[email protected]" which is then translated to the name of my server. Can I change that so they come from the Forum's domain instead of the server's? (SMTP setting?) I couldn't seem to find that setting.

    Thanks

Try enabling the -f parameter to see if this makes a difference:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Enable "-f" Parameter -> Yes

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

That seems to have fixed the problem. At least the diagnostic email is now being delivered.

      Thanks!!
