    Ive just noticed my most ever users online is now 125, thats a 100 increase over night. My board isnt that popular yet so doubted it.

    Ive just gone though the access logs of Apache and found a load of these.

    I dont mind it searching the site, which is actually a good plus but is there any way to stop the number of online users increasing like this?

      Not counting bots in the online user totals requires modifying the code. You can try asking over at vbulletin.org.

        any way to limit their connections... like allowing only 10 at once?
