It's not the "thread" subscriptions.. It's the "forum" daily and weekly updates that they're getting. Some people want them stopped and I can't figure out how to stop them...
How do I shut down a member's forum subscriptions?

Okay.. But what if they're incapable for one reason or another? There's no option in vBulletin to unsubscribe a member from forum updates?Comment

Hmmm...then it would seem to me they wouldn't even be capable of accessing the forums in the first place.
Backup your database, then run this query:
DELETE FROM subscribeforum WHERE userid=xxx;
...with 'xxx' being the userid of the member.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

I hear ya. It's ridiculous.. Some people get into things they can't get themselves out of. I suppose there ARE a lot of options in vB - so.. I think people stumble upon an option (like subscribe to a forum) but then don't remember how they did it and can't get out...
Thank you for the query! It takes quite a long time to download my database.. It's scary every time I hear to do that.. I hope this could be an option in a future release...Comment
