My apologies as I'm sure this has been asked before.

My question is my entire Domain was moved to a new account on the same server. For Reaseon when the account/domain was created they useed my name in the path of the domain on the server (if that makes sense) Anyways they have created ( my iwebhost company) a new account and moved all my html and forum over. Now when accessing the forums i get the standard d/ error:
There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

    We apologise for any inconvenience.

HOW can i correct this. (please note I'm a newbie at this)

    Many thanks in advance

I hope they made a .sql dump and imported it to a new database.
Get the new database details from them and update the includes/config.php file to reflect these changes, goto the admin control panel > vbulletin options and update the URL to your new domain.

Make sure the host resolves to the right ip (so you dont load an old domain) and refresh the page in your browser.

If you still get the error, please right click on the page > view source > and see what the full database error is and post it here

    good luck
