  • MySQL error: -1 from table handler

    Hello,

    When I try to access my admin options I get the following database error;

    Database error in vBulletin 3.0.1:
    Invalid SQL:
    SELECT setting.*, settinggroup.grouptitle
    FROM settinggroup AS settinggroup
LEFT JOIN setting AS setting USING(grouptitle)
    WHERE settinggroup.displayorder <> 0
    ORDER BY settinggroup.displayorder, setting.displayorder

mysql error: Got error -1 from table handler
    mysql error number: 1030
Date: Wednesday 05th of May 2004 03:18:30 PM
    Script: http://www.gamercrossfire.net/bb/adm...ons.php?null=0
    Referer: http://www.gamercrossfire.net/bb/adm...dex.php?do=nav

I saw other 1030 error topics posted but nothing about error -1.

Fixing/Optimising tables did fix it once earlier but won't now.

    Any ideas?

run myisamchk from shell and see how that goes.
[update] don't forget to shutdown mysql first!

Update: I since found error 28 and I know what that is so I got the server to fix something. So far things are ok now.

          Hi there

Error code 28: No space left on device

Either the swap, a partition, temp directory or hard drive on the web server is out of space or doesn't have enough space to complete the above operation.

This is a server issue, you need to contact your hosting provider to get more space to write to. I advice you to shut down your forum to prevent more errors or data loss.
