I have had this error emailed to me 3x in as many days, should I be concerned? Can this corrupt the database?

    Database error in vBulletin 3.0.0:
    Invalid SQL:
    REPLACE INTO datastore
    (title, data)
    ('cron', '1083003300')

And I get this error on a more freq basis, should I be concerned?

Especially with the second error that you posted in mind, it looks to me like the mysql query had a time(out?) issue while running (mysql quit i.e.)

Check with your hosting provider to see why MySQL connections keep failing, are they upgrading? Rebooting the system a lot or is your code crashing the mysql server?

Do you know which version of PHP and MySQL you are running?

      Thanks Floris, the versions are

mysql version 4.0.14 while the php version is 4.3.4.

      are these outdated?

Floris, are these versions Up To Date?

You'll have some database corruption problems with MySQL 4.0.14. I recommend MySQL 4.0.18 and PHP 4.3.6.
