Have I done this correct?

I have set up a section on my forum for admin/moderators. I only want this to be visible to those people, I have changed the settings in Forum permissions, and have left only Admin/mod/supermod with a dot next to the respective people types. Will this now stop people seeing this section on the forum?

You could goto Admin Control Panel > Forums & Moderators > View Permissions and check out which usergroups have what permission to that forum.
