  • Need link to open in same window...

I am tryting to get some links to open in the existing window insted of the default new window in my posts. I hate it when you click on a link and it open a new window all the time.

I have enabled HTML in posts and tried to setup a link
    <a href=http://www.denzoforums.com/forum/ target="_top"><font size="2" color="ffffff">click here</font></a>

but it still open in a new window, and shows some of the code.

    any ideas?

    Thanks
    Dave

What you want to do is replace the target="_top" with target="_self" in that link and you're all set!

I highly suggest turning OFF html and making a new bbcode to do the same...

OK - i figured it out. I am using vbadvanced home page, and there is a seperate setting in there to allow HTML on that page. I click "yes" and poof.. it's working.

            Thanks for the help..

                Code:
                <a href="{param}">{param}</a>
                That would work.

Anyone know how I can do this with the [url] bb code? I don't want to have to use html if I don't really need to.
