How to show avatars in threads?

If a user has an avatar then it will show in their posts as long as the user viewing the post has this option enabled in their User CP:

User CP -> Edit Options -> Visible Post Elements -> Show Avatars

I know it's a simple and stupid question, but I really can't find it myself, so I really hope (and expects) someone knows this;

How to I set it so that users avatars are shown in threads?
