  • Update your counters

After massmoving threads our sysops are told to update the counters but once they click the link they'll end up with a 404. Is it possible either to give them the permission to update the counters or if not to not show them this link?
And how do I do it?

I don't understand the question. When you log into the Admin CP do you hjave any problems updating counters? If so, please post the complete error message.

I'm not having the problem, my sysops have.
They log into the mod cp and massmove threads. Then they are asked to update the counters ("click this link to blabla..") and once they click the link they'll find themself with our 404 page.
I suppose sysops are not allowed to update the counters and I'd either like to give them the permission to do so or remove the request.

The update counter functions are not available to Mods via the Mod CP and never have been. You would need to give them access to the Admin CP.

I know that it hasn't been available. I'd rather remove the link, if I'd want them to have access to the Admin CP I'd call them Administrators.
Fact is that they are asked to do something they're not able to do (and even are shown the link leading to the function) . That's a bit.. confusing when confronted with the first time.
