need info one time and dst settings pls

, the time is now 2:20


when im logged into my forum the time shows 3:20

ehen logged out it shows 1:20

dst is off and times are set to GMT in acp what is going on ?

Steve, with all due respect, there is a problem. If you set to autodetect for daylight time, time will go off by an hour, in other words, will not show DST. If you force it to "always on" in the user cp, then it is ok, or, if you log out, then it is ok...

My installation is doing this, others I am regged on are doing this, and this installation here at VB.com is doing it... there *is* a problem Houston..

There's an issue somewhere in the detection scheme for auto on the DST thing... Hopefully since it's a weekend and they just found out about it, it'll be fixed sometime early in the coming week.. It's going to get a lot of people confused on Monday when traffic picks up on my board...

Default Time Zone Offset: (GMT -8:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)

Control Panel option is set to PDT also:
UserCP: Edit options: Time Zone: (GMT -8:00) Paficic Time (US & Canada)

The server itself is on PDT time also:
Server time zone: PDT (Sun Apr 4 14:06:04 PDT 2004)

Yet when I am logged into my board, it says I'm (GMT -7:00) Mountain Time.

We have reported this to the Developers. However I am still not able to duplicate this with my account here or on my vB3 test forum. However I live in a non-DST state and have DST turned off in my User CP. We do have it turned on the the Admin CP for these forums.
