  • mysql error number: 1064 (Please Help!)

I've recently bought the latest version of vbulletin. After successfully installing it, I added a new style (blue saint). I've just made a post and got this error :

    Database error in vBulletin 3.0.0:
    Invalid SQL:
    SELECT *
    FROM mailqueue
    ORDER BY mailqueueid DESC
    LIMIT
mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 5

    mysql error number: 1064
Date: Friday 02nd of April 2004 01:12:18 PM
    Script:
    http://www.eshropshire.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12
    Referer: http://www.eshropshire.com/forum/index.php?
    Username: Kristian
    IP Address: 80.225.103.221

Could someone please tell me how to rectify this problem? My host runs the latest versions of mysql and php. I don't know what it could be.

I'm new to all this, so please be kind

Sorry, I don't know how I missed this post yesterday.

Does the error only happen with this style? Try this. Create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Then change to this style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

I could understand if vBulletin was free. I'd understand then how support could be lacking. But it's an expensive piece of software.

Would it KILL someone to reply to my question and lend a hand?

Im rather new to this script, but I will give it a shot.

When I go to your site, I get a 404 error?

Steve -- I seem to have corrected the problem. Since it was a new forum, without much in the way of a database, I re-installed and overwrote.

I think I know what happened. While going through vb options, my Roboform may have added data without me noticing. This seems likely, since the problem is now fixed and everything is working smoothly.

Don't worry about missing my post and thanks for getting to me on my questions.
