  • Removing the space between posts

    I've just upgraded my forum to vBulletin 3.0 and I've noticed the new design has each post in a seperate box. I prefer the old style where the posts are all in a table and there is no space between each post, only a border. I tried to modify the design to change this but all I managed to succeed in doing was making entire posts vanish off the page- the design is fairly complicated and I'm not really sure how to go about it.

    Does anyone have some templates I can copy which will change this appropriately? Or any suggestions about how to fix it?

    I guess, you should edit

    Code:
    <if condition="$show['spacer']">
    </div>
    $spacer_close
    </if>
    in your postbit or postbit_legacy template

      Go to your:

      Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Postbit Templates -> postbit or postbit_legacy (depending on which layout you use)

      Find this code at the top. Replace the red code with 0:

      Code:
      <!-- post #$post[postid] -->
      <if condition="$show['spacer']">
      	$spacer_open
      	<div style="padding:0px 0px $stylevar[cellpadding]px 0px">
      	<if condition="!$post['islastshown']"><!-- this is not the last post shown on the page --></if>
      </if>
