Blank showthread.php after upgrade

This one's undoubably my fault, but can anyone help me track down why, after upgrading from RC4 to Gold, I get a blank white page when I try to view any threads (i.e. showthread.php)?

I've reuploaded a virgin copy of it, reverted the relevent templates - nothing. I turned display_errors on in php.ini too but I don't even get that. Just a blank page.

I can view the forums, even make new posts, I just can't view them. Where should I start looking?

To answer my own question, the first place to look is functions_showthread.php. Doh. I'm still getting used to vb3
